Olive is definitely a cutie! It was a wise decision to keep the info secret until you had her. ;)
Congrats to you and your wife on the new puppy. Are you going to leave her tail as well? I think she looks great just the way she is. How old is she? She looks pretty big already.
I definitely think she is part Weimaraner. If you look at some pics on the web she has teh coloring and a little of the head shape.
She's about 5 months. We've declared her birthday to be October 1st for purposes of celebration.
I asked the pound what the mix was. They said that they had to advertise her as a mix, but that several breeders had been in and said they thought she was a pure-bred fawn doberman.
Her nose is a little narrower, though, than I'd expect for a dobie.
Whatever she is, she was a bargain. After the stink I raised about the pricing and miscommunication problems, the pound gave her to us for $35.
And, don't worry, more pics will come. JLowe took about 12, but they're all essentially the same. I might post one where I'm making a goofy face; we'll see...
Very cool. You know, I've never seen a Dobie without the ears bobbed so I don't know what I am talking about anyways.
She is a great looking dog, and a bargain to boot! TNT has a Dalmatian, so perhaps this summer we'll have to go to an open dog park and see if they like each other!

More pictures as she gets older, please!
